The trip from San Jose is about three and a half hours if you take the Atenas turnoff and drive the narrow road through the Aguacate mountains. Passing by the towns of San Mateo Orotina, Tarcoles, Jaco, parrita and Quepos. Manuel Antonio is 4.30 miles (7 kilometers) away from Quepos.

Cabinas and Hotel Espadilla are located in the main beach called Playa Espadilla. Once in the beach, turn left at Marlin Restaurant and follow the street you will first find Cabinas Espadilla on your right hand side. Keep going and on your left hand side you will find the hotel entrance. Cell phones don’t work in this area but if you need to contact us there are public phones along the sidewalk ate the main beach..

By Bus
A direct San Jose – Manuel Antonio bus leaves the Coca Cola (A bus stop in San Jose Down Town) at 6 am, noon, 6 pm and 7 pm. Returning at 6. am, 9.30 pm, noon, 5 pm. By tickets in advance. Seats are numbered. Price US$5
